Carpentry Technician

Commercial Service Carpenter

Job Function:

Were seeking a dependable and experienced commercial service carpenter to join our this role youll be responsible for servicing repairing and maintaining carpentry work in commercial buildings. Youll have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively delivering high-quality service to our valued clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install repair and maintain doors windows cabinetry and trim work.
• Perform basic electrical repairs on items such as light fixtures switches outlets etc.
• Perform light plumbing work such as clearing stoppages replacing fittings etc.
• Build and repair structures such as partitions walls and flooring.
• Perform general maintenance.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local state and national building codes.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

Minimum Qualifications :

• Holds a valid drivers license.
• Handyman experience.
• Ability to operate carpentry tools and equipment safely.

Optional Qualifications :

• Facilities Maintenance experience
• Commercial Building Maintenance experience
• Preventive Maintenance experience
• Work Order experience

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand talk bend stretch pull or push and lift items.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
