The Non CDL Driver will support the Branch operations by delivering materials to jobsites paying special attention to our vendors/contractors needs and the owners property. The workweek is Monday through Friday with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
The primary responsibility of the Non CDL Driver is for the safe and accurate delivery of building materials to a customers place of business or job site. Other duties include confirming inventory loaded on the truck comparing purchase orders sign-off on delivery tickets confirming addresses on delivery tickets and ensuring that routing information is obtained prior to leaving the branch. Loading and unloading materials to and from the delivery truck by light duty piggyback forklift or by hand securing material to the truck. Picking up customer returns from the jobsite.
While at the branch you may assist in various yard tasks such as relocation of material cleaning and organizing of yard warehouse or truck as necessary. Assist customers by loading materials onto their vehicle.
