Position: Office Administrator/Proposal ADMIN

Salary: Hourly $19-24$ Based Upon Qualifications & Experience

Location: Raleigh NC Area (Not a remote position)

Administrative Duties and Description:: Administrative Assistants provide administrative support to the office. The primary requirements for this position are a considerable knowledge of company policies and procedures organizational skills computer skills and the ability to work independently. The primary requirements for this Administrative Assistant will have contact with a variety of people both in person and by phone including clients and individuals from the business community. Need the professional ability to adequately use a personal computer calculator copier fax machine and multi-line phone system. Minimal education requirements are a high school diploma and one year of clerical/office experience.

  • Manage data in spreadsheets and reports
  • Keep records and reports up to date
  • Carry out clerical duties including answering phones and preparing documents
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and commitment of professionalism and company culture
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral form
  • Work independently and organize complex clerical tasks
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a variety of situations
  • Cost consciousness
  • Proficiency in the use of company office technology & software (ADPExcel Procore CMiC Office 365 Microsoft Office etc.)
  • Assist with estimating proposals and submittals
  • Assist Field Staff with correct coding and submitting expense vouchers reviews if needed
  • Communicating in a positive effective & professional manner with staff vendors subcontractors and visitors
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Remain calm under trying circumstances and work with frequent interruptions
  • General Office Qualifications
  • Knowledge and proficiency in the use of technology (i.e. computers Microsoft Office Suite Multi-line phone system General Office Equipment such as copier/scanner etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other Federal State and Local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk listen and speak clearly on the telephone
