A Day in the Life

Quality Systems Specialist - Training

This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronics Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.

In this exciting role as a Quality Systems Specialist - Training you will be involved in various quality activities and processes of Medtronic Diabetes (MiniMed). This key role will manage cross-site QMS implementation and Agile Change Requests drive milestones and deliverables and manage program execution while ensuring compliance with established external standards and internal requirements.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Supports oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs systems processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines

Support governance for training systems and processes

Implement training standards to meet the needs of new and changing regulations.

Serves as training document owner

Support internal and external audits.

Maintains current knowledge of laws regulations and industry guidance that impact the companys compliance program.

Supports process improvement initiatives.

Facilitates uniform training standards worldwide and enables best practice sharing thereby fostering the achievement of companys mission globally.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree with 2-4 years of work experience in Quality Management setting in a regulated industry (years of experience depend of principal senior or associate levels)

Requires practical knowledge in managing the execution of processes projects and tactics within one job area.
