Construction Management Representative

• Provide technical assistance and support to CO during construction.
• Read interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications.
• Arrange coordinate attendand facilitate a variety of meetings including weekly meetings at the project site.
• Document issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor.
• Review contractors baseline and progress schedules.
• Draft project related correspondence.
• Understand and document inspections during and post construction as well as mock-up inspections.
• Inspect the work of the construction contractor for progress workmanship quality and conformance with contract documents applicable building codes and safety standards.
• Deliver reports reviews evaluations and design workto Government Contracting Officer (GCO).
• Review and process Construction Contractors RFIs and assist in resolution draft response tracking and follow up.
• Coordinate on-site staff assignment
• Provide technical review of proposed modifications to the contract and make recommendations to the GCO.
• Maintain records and files of correspondence site conference reports shop drawings RFIs addenda change orders and supplementary drawings issued subsequent to award of the construction contract.
• Coordinate with the construction contractors quality control (inspection) personnel in accordance with NFCInspection of Construction.

• An accredited degree in construction management architecture or engineering (structural mechanical civil or electrical) with a minimum of 10 years of practical field experience
• Minimum of OSHA 30-hour construction safetytraining required.
• Knowledge and experience with construction practices including applicable building codes applicable safety regulations
• Knowledge of cost estimatingwith breakdown of labor materials and equipment costs for proposed construction contract modifications.
• Ability to evaluate payment requests
• Ability to read and interpret plans schedules and other specifications.
• Written and verbal communication problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge of software including MS Teams MS Word MS Excel Adobe Acrobat ProjectTeam Primavera MS Project and any other software programs typically utilized
• Maintain a valid drivers license.
• Qualified applicant must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to walk and climb stairs or ladders on a daily basis to observe and inspect contract performance.
• Must be familiar with NAF/FAR and DOD regulations to assist in administration of construction contract.
