Responsibilities
- Remove upholstery accessories electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
- Fill depressions with body filler.
- Remove damaged fenders panels
- Bolt or weld replacement parts in position
- Straighten bent automobile frames.
- File grind sand and prime repair surfaces.
- Aim headlights align wheels and bleed the hydraulic brake system.
- Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician required
- Ability to use frame machine
- Certification in body repair preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
- I-CAR welding certified preferred
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
- Aluminum repair certifications a plus
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
