INFRASTRUCTURE FLOOR TECHNICIAN

General Purpose:The duties of this job include sweeping mopping scrubbing and buffing the floor surfaces of commercial buildings. You may also help clean or extract and install carpets so carpet installation experience is a some cases you may have to move furniture for floor access or be asked to perform other light cleaning (s) Available:2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) Monday through FridaySupervisory Responsibilities:None Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Maintains floor surfaces and stairwells including but not limited to the following:Sweeps mops buffs polishes scrubs strips and refinishes hard-surface floors using heavy equipment;Vacuums spot cleans and extracts carpeted floor surfaces;Performs routine operational maintenance of cleaning equipment per manufacturer clean empty trash linen and garbage handle hazardous waste in accordance with government regulations and GLOCK Inc. wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base participate in the maintenance of floors to include cleaning screening stripping sanding and participate in snow and ice management and removal duties including the operation of snow removal equipmentComplies with all company safety and risk management policies and all accidents and injuries in a timely in regular safety meetings safety training and hazard all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned all work in accordance with established safety perform other duties and responsibilities as drive golf carts or other assist in inventorying floor care out purchase request when supplies need to be reordered and forward to Facility Manager to be placed on and Shampoo sidewalks Wash windows and clean entrance glass doors pick up trash around outside of needed empty trash from rest rooms office area break rooms conference rooms and training and emptying out fire safety procedures and regulations. Ability to work various shiftsAbility to operate floor-cleaning to understand and follow safety procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a a variety of company vehicles such as but not limited to trucks golf carts SUVsQualifications/Job Requirements:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
