The opportunity
The opportunity in COO Risk sits right at the heart of the Banks operations. We translate ourrather complex banking business exposures into impact on risk weighted assets and provisions inline with the constantly changing business desires and the latest regulatory requirements. We alsoprovide important insights in NFR and Compliance topics and cater for corresponding regulatory
reporting needs. COO Risk delivers baseline and change activities for the Risk Organization with the purpose todrive our partners to maximize value in a safe & compliant environment. We play a critical role atING and service all business lines CROs and COOs of the Bank.

To deliver on these ambitious promises we are looking for a Product lead who has an end-to-endstrategic focus around our services and leads our squads in terms of clear prioritizationaccountability and capabilities. The Product Lead is a position where all elements of a productcome together the what and the how with an end-to-end transformation responsibility.
Job description
As a Product Lead you will manage a well-balanced team across multiple locations and betweenmultiple squads centred around Data Ingestion for Vortex. This means being responsible for all datadeliveries coming to Vortex including accommodating changes and new source deliveries maintainingthe pre-processor functionality. Alignment of solutions across peers MBB-3 within COOR and withbusiness stakeholders across the bank. The main stakeholders sit within the newly created CreditRisk department within the CRO function.
You will cover all the Credit Risk work related to change involvement in all Credit Risk relatedprograms such as Basel IV and operations running daily and monthly reporting cycles related toVortex Data ingestion. This applies to Credit Risk data from all ING locations both Retail andWholesale Banking including all regulatory and business change work which includes work on
multiple Credit Risk related applications (Vortex SME Engine Scoping Engine) under the currentscope.

As a Product Lead you report hierarchically to the Credit Risk Tribe Lead. Within the Tribe we donot solely focus on transformation also ensuring all data is processed as per the agreed timelinesis at the core what we do. By doing so we do ensure that every colleague has insights in theirdaily monthly or quarterly data in a timely manner. Consequently we monitor the timeline ofinternal and external reporting and apply the correct standards for data quality to our
stakeholders.
Roles and responsibilities
As a Product Lead you:
Actively manage all internal parties and projects to successfully deliver upon the initiativeswithin the Data Ingestion area
Take ownership of a sizable number of explicit regulatory transformation initiatives
Be the hierarchical manager of a team of up to 10 people
Be able to work in a collaborative and highly complex setting
Be able to influence the level playing field of your team including teams outside of COORisk
Able to take responsibility steer strategy and realisations based on facts and data; managerialcourage to question and make decisions for highly complex issues
Build the craftsmanship of the employees in the team in line with the strategy of the CreditRisk Tribe
Ensure compliance with relevant regulation and internal/external requirements

Required skills and experiences
University/Postgraduate (Masters Degree)
10 years in Banking Information Technology and Credit Risk processes and systems.
Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job-related experience in CreditRisk and IT to fully competent level (Over 6 years to 10 years).
Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver key objectives for the product (Over 3years to 6 years).
Previous experience of working in complex environment dealing with multiple internal andexternal stakeholders (over 3 years to 6 years).
Solid knowledge of managing large transformation/change projects (over 3 years to 6years).
Exposure to Risk related topics and projects (3 years to 6 years).
Experience in defining strategies and policies to set and deliver objectives within medium tolong time frames
A proven track record in process management backlog management and resource planning
Have a can do mentality proactive resourceful and willing to go the extra mile
An excellent level of English
