Job Summary
Your Mission
Reporting directly to the CFO you will translate financial strategy into day-to-day execution and keep Finance running like clockwork.
We are looking for someone who ishighly execution-driven pragmatic and takes full ownership. You will have a meaningful impact on the companys financial health and decision-making working closely with the responsibilities
- You own day-to-day finance operations end-to-end and monthly accounting close ensuring accuracy timeliness and reliability and predictable internal and external financial reporting.
- You manageAR collections and dunning to maintain a healthy cash position.
- You overseeAP payment runs and prepare accurate payroll inputs.
- You trackbudget vs. plan explain variances clearly and derive actionable insights.
- You run theFP&A cadence translating financial strategy into operational execution.
- You preparefinancial updates forecasts and scenario analyses for the CFO leadership teaminvestors auditors and other external stakeholders.
- You proactively flag risks and issues early (e.g. cash runway burn rate execution slippage).
- Youown the year-end close and annual financial statements including coordination and execution of theexternal audit.
- You manage and coordinateexternal partners such as accountants tax advisors and auditors.
- Youwork closely together with two team members providing professional guidance and quality oversight (formal people management remains with the CFO).
- You continuouslydrive efficiency improvements optimize finance processes and evolvetools systems and automation as the company scales.
What you bring along
- 57 years of experience in Finance having owned Accounting and FP&A in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Close collaboration with a CFO and comfort operating in an execution-focused setup.
- Hands-on and confident working withExcel Salesforce and Stripe.
- Strong knowledge of finance operations reporting forecasting cash management and audits.
- You balance attention to detail with the ability to think ahead and build scalable finance foundations.
- Aconsulting background is a strong plus.
- English is our primary language for internal and external communication while German is a strong plus.
- Experience in fast-growing startups or scale-ups in the eMobility sector.
- Building finance operations from scratch or through rapid growth phases.
- Working closely with founders CFOs or investors.
