In our research clusters Systems Data and AI Foundations Digital Health Security and Business and Society researchers from various disciplines work together on topics relevant to solving the challenges facing society. The Digital Engineering Faculty of the University of Potsdam and HPI offers a computer science engineering degree program that is unique in Germany.

In the course of its strong growth the Hasso Plattner Institute is looking for a

Working Student HPI Engine (m/f/x) - Content Creation

The position is temporary and begins in the summer semester 2026 (March/April to September) with opportunity to prolong and part-time (10 hours per week).

About HPI Engine

The HPI Engine is the entrepreneurship ecosystem of the Hasso-Plattner-Institute. It is dedicated to inspiring and empowering tech talent in Germany and across Europe to become responsible entrepreneurial leaders driving meaningful impact for our society economy and themselves. We achieve this by supporting tech talent with tailored programs events modern infrastructure funding access and a collaborative entrepreneurship community.

Your future tasks

• Create and manage social media content for HPI Engine
• Design create and edit images and visual assets for social media website and program communication
• Support the communication of startup-relevant topics programs founders and events within the HPI Engine ecosystem
• Contribute to strengthening the visibility and recognition of the HPI Engine brand across digital channels
• Support content planning posting and basic performance tracking

What we are looking for

• Enrolled student (e.g. media communication marketing business IT or a related field)
• Strong interest in startups entrepreneurship and innovation
• Experience with different social media platforms and content formats
• Very good skills in image creation and editing (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite Figma or similar tools)
• A strong eye for design aesthetics and visual storytelling
• Independent structured working style and a proactive mindset
• Very good written English skills
• Availability of around 10 hours per week
