ABOUT THE PROGRAM:SAFE Family Recovery
The Safe Family Recovery program encompasses 3 separate programs: SBIRT (Screening Brief Intervention Referral to Treatment) RMCS (Recovery Management Checkup and Support) and MDFR (Multidimensional Family Recovery).
SBIRT is a screening that includes a breathalyzer urine drug screen the administration of the GAIN-SS and a discussion with client to identify areas of need related to substance use and mental health and to connection to appropriate treatment as indicated.
RMCS is designed to provide ongoing recovery support and checkups after an episode of treatment. RMCS works to facilitate involvement with pro-social activities linkage to services as indicated and positive family relationships.
MDFR is an evidence based program that addresses the complex multi-generational challenges facing families affected by parental substance use and involvement in the child welfare system. MDFR works to address change in the following six domains.
1. Child Functioning & Safety
2. Parent/Individual functioning
3. Family relationships
4. Intimate Partner relationships
5. Parenting/Co-parenting
6. Basic needs/ community resources
ABOUT THE POSITION: Program Supervisor
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides case consultation direction and leadership within the team.
- Ensures clients receive services that are focused on presenting problems and clients request for treatment.
- Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.
- Monitors client meetings admission continued stay and discharge criteria.
- Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services.
- Oversees hiring training and performance management of staff within the program.
- Facilitates team meetings.
- Participates in internal and external meetings as needed by program and agency.
- Ensures client program and agency documentation is completed in a timely manner and according to program agency funder and accreditation/licensing standards.
- Acts as primary point person for program and provides back up coverage as needed by program and agency.
- Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles/if applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Masters degree in social work counseling marriage and family therapy education (PSS program only) psychology or related field; consideration will be given for those with a bachelors degree in similar fields with five years of appropriate experience in some programs.
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years experience providing direct services in a mental health related field. Supervisory experience preferred not required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: If in a field that requires licensure must have a provisional level license (LMSW LMFT-A LPC-A). LCSW LMFT LPC preferred.

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off of relevant experience as well as adherence to our internal equity policy.
