Position Overview:
The Dealer Trade Driver is responsible for transporting vehicles between dealerships and other locations. This includes performing local and long-distance runs as needed ensuring safe and timely delivery of vehicles while following all traffic laws and dealership policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport vehicles for dealer trades both locally and long-distance
- Inspect vehicles before and after transport to ensure condition and security
- Follow all traffic laws dealership policies and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of trips and deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dealership staff regarding schedules issues or delays
Qualifications:
- Must have a clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening
- Valid drivers license appropriate for vehicle type
- Dependable punctual and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor
