Job Summary

UMH Ionia is seeking a locum CRNA to provide independent anesthesia care for general surgical and endoscopy procedures at UMH Ionia working day shifts (7:00 AM to 3:30 Monday to Friday) with remote supervision from an anesthesiologist and no on-call requirements covering vacation needs as scheduled.

Practice Setting: Operating Room (OR) and Endoscopy (Endo) for Hospital

Documentation System/EMR: EPIC

CRNA Supervision/Independence: Independent work with remote supervision by Anesthesiologist

Average Number of Cases Per Day: 15

Trauma Level/Designation: Level 4

Annual ER Volume: 16000

Description of OR Staff: Rooms staffed per procedure with Registered Nurses (RNs) and techs

Number of Operating Rooms: 2 Operating Rooms with 1 Endoscopy Room

Patient Age Demographic: Pediatric to Geriatric

Procedures Required:

General Surgical Cases (Adult and Pediatric)
Minor Nerve Blocks
IV Regional Anesthesia
Plexus Anesthesia

Additional Procedures Required:

Spinal Anesthesia
Epidural Anesthesia
Regional Anesthesia
Ventilation Management
Local Infiltration

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days

Facility Reimburse: Mileage billed at the IRS standard rate

Board Certified in AANA: REQUIRED

Clean Malpractice & License History: HIGHLY PREFFERED
Copy of the NPDB self-query requires at presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) REQUIRED
