Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery & Logistics:
- Pick up and deliver prescriptions DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and lab samples.
- Ensure timely and correct delivery to patients hospitals clinics or senior centers.
- Plan routes efficiently and follow traffic/safety regulations.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate delivery logs including times locations and recipient details.
- Collect and return signed delivery confirmations or reports.
- Securely handle payments and relevant paperwork ensuring data protection.
- Vehicle & Maintenance:
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the delivery vehicle.
- Keep the vehicle clean organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Customer & Staff Interaction:
- Represent the pharmacy professionally and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff about schedules delays or issues.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns politely.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow strict hygiene safety and handling protocols for medical items.
- Adhere to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and data privacy regulations.
- Pharmacy Support:
- Assist with inventory management loading and packaging when needed.
