Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Charge Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide skilled nursing care within the Emergency Room setting. The role includes the ability to charge as needed with minimal orientation and may require working weekends. The expected patient ratio is 1:4.
Location:Plainview Texas United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care in the Emergency Room.
- Perform patient assessments.
- Administer medications.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Function as a charge nurse as needed.
- Gather and report patient data.
- Carry out physician orders.
- Perform therapeutic procedures.
- Document patient care and related duties.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills
- Minimum of two years of hospital experience.
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
Special Considerations:

- Must be able to charge as needed with very brief orientation.
- Weekends are required as needed.
Scheduling:
- Schedule includes weekend shifts as needed.
- Block schedules are not required.
