Job Summary

Job Overview

We are looking for a competent Java Developer to design and develop Java applications for a government project . As a Java Developer you will be responsible to manage the development of web applications. You will be part of the core team throughout the life cycle of the software development program. You have to develop software and manage it right from the planning phase to prioritizing testing and its launch.

Responsibilities

Prioritize specify and perform tasks all through the software development process.
Review test and debug the code written by you before sending it for testing.
Design database architecture and implement the same in software applications.
Ensure all the applications are properly designed and adheres to the client requirement specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience working as a Java Developer or similar job java-based roles.
Outstanding knowledge of programming language - Java JavaScript etc.
Time management and viable delegation skills.
Ability to multitask and good time management skills.
Ability to work as a part of a dynamic team.

In general the expectation is:

During the ramp-up period (1-2 months ) some resourcing needed on-site working together with the local team

After the ramp-up period:

Either continue to work as part of the team on-site or delivery from a nearshore location with commonly agreed set-up

Must Have Skills:

At least 4-5 years of Java development Experience

Worked in SCRUM team set up

JavaScript experience with implementation to the interface (Angular React Vue or different)

Java in combination with rest/JSON soap XML

SQL programming

Nice-to-have

Experience with RHEL 7.x

Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration and delivery)

Experience with the testing tool
