Reporting to: Head of Graduate Business School

Job Type: Part-time/Fixed-term (2 days per week 12-month contract)

Job Summary:
GBS Hub is looking for a dynamic and innovative team player to join our active project GreenTech4Transformation (GT4T). This role will support the activities required to achieve the KPIs assigned to GC across the work packages in this EU-funded particular this will include coordination across key stakeholders (faculties industry partners start-ups) and contributing to the creation of a venture start-up lab.


Project Overview:
The GreenTech4Transformation (GT4T) consortium envisions a future where European higher education institutions (HEIs) drive sustainable innovation-led growth through deep-tech entrepreneurship. By 2030 we aim to establish an inclusive ecosystem where students researchers and entrepreneurs develop impactful solutions addressing the circular economy digital transformation and energy transition. Through our Innovation Vision Action Plan (IVAP) European HEIs will lead in generating market-ready technologies sustainable business models and systemic social benefits aligned with Europes green economy goals. GT4T envisions 2030 where universities industry leaders and innovators drive sustainable technologies within an inclusive ecosystem. GT4T will establish venture science labs across partner institutions where students faculty and industry leaders can develop MVPs secure funding and bring market-driven innovations to life. The consortium will create lasting networks linking HEIs industry experts policymakers start-ups and investors supporting Europes green and digital transitions.


Active Work Packages Relevant to this Role:
WP2: Creates innovation hubs at HEIs to support sustainability-focused start-ups and deep-tech ventures with mentorship prototyping resources and funding. Aligns entrepreneurship infrastructure with green transition priorities. WP3: Integrates real-world sustainability challenges into curricula promoting interdisciplinary problem-solving and hands-on teamwork. Outputs transition to WP2 for further development. WP4: Facilitates HEI-industry-policy collaboration to align research with societal and market needs. Focuses on translating academic findings into practical applications for renewable energy digital transformation and circular economy solutions. WP5: Delivers tiered training programs in sustainability entrepreneurship and deep-tech preparing participants for other WPs. Includes scalable modules aligned with regional Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3). WP6: Inter-University Collaboration Establishes a unified framework for resource sharing joint accreditation and cross-border collaboration among HEIs ensuring scalability and sustainability. WP7: Teaches methodologies for creative problem-solving in deep-tech and sustainability embedding design thinking practices into HEIs for long-term innovation capacity. WP8: Positions HEIs as leaders in innovation ecosystems through partnerships with industry policymakers and communities ensuring outputs meet external needs via forums policy dialogues and community events.
