Senior Accountant (Contract / Permanent) - Take the Lead on Complex Government Finance Projects.

The Role:
You will play a senior role on client-facing public sector projects ensuring financial accuracy compliance and delivery across municipalities and government entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of financial reporting aligned to GRAP and PFMA
- Reviewing and guiding work performed by junior team members
- Managing audit processes and liaising with auditors
- Supporting municipalities with compliance reporting and controls
- Providing financial insight and problem-solving on complex matters
Experience & Qualifications:
- Completed Accounting degree
- Completed articles (SAICA / SAIPA)
- Registered or eligible with a professional accounting body
- 510 years accounting experience with public sector exposure
- Strong working knowledge of GRAP PFMA and municipal finance
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and locations
- Willingness to travel
