We are partnering with one of South Africas leading financial services investment holdings groups. This is a powerhouse organization behind a portfolio of the countrys most recognized and household insurance and lifestyle brands.
Operating as a shared service within their Digital team this is an opportunity to join a high-volume innovative environment that functions much like an internal consultancy. You wont just be maintaining legacy systems; you will be driving the digital experience for millions of South Africans across multiple distinct brand identities.
Performance Objectives for Year One
- Lead the Mobile Experience Overhaul: Audit and redesign key user journeys within the groups flagship mobile applications ensuring alignment with iOS and Android interface guidelines to improve app store ratings and user retention.
- Drive Cross-Brand Consistency: Collaborate with the Digital Enablement team to implement and evolve a robust Design System that allows for rapid deployment of features across multiple brands (e.g. Budget 1Life Hippo) while maintaining unique brand identities.
- Optimise Conversion through CX Mapping: Implement Voice of the Customer initiatives and journey mapping to identify pain points in the quote-to-buy process; deliver design solutions that demonstrably reduce drop-off rates.
- Bridge the Gap Between Design & Dev: Act as the primary conduit between stakeholders and technical teams delivering high-fidelity prototypes in Figma that are technically feasible and ready for development reducing the feedback loop time.
