Salary scale (based on AMP union contract and degree): $125744 - $137537
228 Contract Days
Start date: 7/1/2026
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Masters degree in educational administration and/or equivalent as required for state certification
- Minimum of three (3) years of classroom experience and a minimum of three (3) full years completed as an administrator prior to the start of the school year after the hire date
- Certified educators who have taught students regardless of the setting are considered to have classroom teaching experience
- New Hampshire Educator Certification of Principal
- All minimum qualifications and requirements shall be met at the time of position posting
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Coordinates curriculum development implementation and evaluation
- Develops budget
- Facilitates the scheduling of art music physical education health education library science and any other school based activities
- Coordinates the activities of the schools in-service training program
- Provides community involvement
- Monitors the athletic and intramural programs
- Hires new staff as needed (preliminary screening initial interviews by committee and Assistant Principal)
- Implements the teacher evaluation program
- Staff Management and Development
- Oversees the Special Education Program.
- Coordinates the student activities account
- Facility Maintenance and Management
- Administrative Reporting
- Health Care Administration
- Emergency Administration
Specific Core Function:
To use leadership supervisory and administrative skills so as to promote the educational development of each student.
Supervisory Responsibilities Required Special Qualifications:
Supervises staff members designated by the Board of the Superintendent Assistant Superintendents and appropriate Central Office job is not eligible for sponsorship.
