Job Summary
Job Summary:
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 4pm - Midnight.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services he Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech; performs medical sonograms exercises professional judgment in performance procedures and provides safe patient care.
Education and Training:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound
Licensures/ Certifications:
- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in process of obtaining certification must be obtained within 1 year.
- Current American Heart Associations BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation period
Experience:
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Competent in the use of a computer and computer systems
- Excellent customer service skills
