• Pay Range: Based on experience: $43.27- $57.69 /hour and $1.50/hour shift premium

Rotating Shift (must be available for all)

  • SaturdaySunday: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
  • 5 Days Off Monday- Friday

Description of Role:

The Controls Technician is primarily office-based with occasional visits to the production floor and responsible for maintaining diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical/motor controls and PLC Logic to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.

What are we looking for

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3 years experience in electrical systems controls and/or automation.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs HMIs and motor control systems
• Able to accurately read interpret and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift/carry (10-50 lbs) and push/pull (50-300 lbs)
• Occasional bending stooping twisting handling and gripping.
• If requested able to work at elevated heights climb stairs lean over equipment and operate in confined spaces.
• Capable of working in hot cold and wet conditions
• Proficient in understanding communicating reading and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree Bachelors degree or relevant certifications in a technical field
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment

What will be my Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance basic repairs troubleshooting inspections calibration modifications and upgrades on electrical and controls equipment including PLCs HMIs SCADA and motor control systems
• Support the installation and setup of new control systems and automation equipment
• Identify and resolve minor faults in control systems and recommend continuous improvements
• Maintaining inventory of tools parts and supplies needed for control system maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols when servicing control systems and electrical equipment
• Any ad hoc requests
