The Childcare Coordinator oversees the daily operations of The Oaks Academys childcare program providing a safe structured and nurturing environment for students beyond the school day and throughout summer programs. This role focuses on supervision programming staff coordination and family communication. This is a 12-month full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily childcare operations including student attendance.
- Collaborate with transportation service for the school year and summer programs.
- Supervise and support after care staff and volunteers.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities including homework support recreation and enrichment.
- Maintain a safe organized and welcoming environment for students.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding schedules policies and student needs.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safety procedures.
- Track attendance and assist with program reporting as needed.
- Plan and facilitate summer camp programs.
- Collaborate with other Oaks Plus coordinators.

Requirements
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Proven team leader
- Digital competencies including common software and online tools
- Ability to manage routines transitions and behavior
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Devout Christian who is a member of associated with or seeking to be associated with a Christ-centered community of faith or a church
