Description of Work
Coordinator marketer photographer videographer and spokesperson for the states transportation Highway Divisions 7 and 9. This position involves planning developing executing and evaluating communication strategies and plans that promote the department and its programs to both internal and external audiences. This employee reports directly to the Assistant Director of Communications.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC13 $48222- $84388

Flexibility to travel and adjust work schedule to meet the needs of large-scale projects and crisis situations. Writing Samples Required.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in communications public relations public affairs media journalism English or a related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in communications public relations or publicity work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.EEO Statement
