Job Summary
Your role
- You develop high-impact distributed services that solve major challenges in our business
- You take end-to-end ownership over what you build: design implement ensure quality operate and extend
- You debug issues perform root cause analysis and apply fixes in a timely manner
- You collaborate closely with our internal product team to ensure high-impact and direct feedback
- You develop knowledge processes and organization of the IT department
Your profile
- You have successfully completed your studies (for example in computer science or informatics) and 5 years of experience building high-performance APIs & microservices with Java (v17/21) and Spring Boot (3.x)
- Strong knowledge of Reactive Programming (Spring WebFlux Project Reactor) for scalable non-blocking systems
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (ECS Lambda RDS SQS etc.) and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL (or other relational DBs) and optimizations for high-throughput systems
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka RabbitMQ SNS/SQS)
- Familiarity with API-first development (OpenAPI/Swagger) and REST/HTTP best practices
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab ArgoCD)
- Passion for clean maintainable code (TDD DDD or hexagonal architecture is a plus) and leadership in driving projects from design to production
- You enjoy working in a diverse team of dedicated and experienced software engineers and show positive can-do attitude and team spirit
- You have experience in leading projects from design through to production
- Your English is business fluent (C1) and your German is ideally good (B2)
