Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - 1:1 CareJob Summary:As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing 1:1 care you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personalized nursing care to a student or students in the educational settings. You will work directly under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) to ensure the students health and safety needs are met with precision and Responsibilities:Student Care:Provide direct student care including monitoring vital signs administering medications and assisting with daily routine clinical tasks such as wound care catheter care and changing with feeding and mobility as needed ensuring the students comfort and and report any changes in the students condition or behavior to the supervising RN or Administration:Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the healthcare for medication side effects and adverse & Reporting:Maintain clear and accurate patient records documenting care provided changes in condition and any issues effectively with the supervising RN and school team providing updates on the students status and care plan as Safety:Follow all safety protocols to ensure the students physical and emotional that the environment is clean and safe when preparing sterile medications and :Work closely with the students family physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and follow a care plan tailored to the students :Education & Experience:Current LPN license in the state of of 1-year experience in a healthcare or clinical in 1:1 student care & Abilities:Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for student(s).Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize of basic medical procedures terminology and nursing to work independently and as part of a Requirements:Ability to lift move or transfer students as to stand walk and bend for extended periods.
