Job Description:
The outpatient nurse coordinator for cardiac rehabilitation is responsible and accountable for patient evaluation: disposition and decision making in coordinating and rendering professional nursing care to adult patients with cardiovascular disease. This nursing staff member coordinates the individual treatment plan (ITP) for patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation therapies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications/Knowledge Skills & Abilities (Indicate minimum required to qualify or perform this job.)
Required Education/Experience/Licensing:
Current nursing license in State of Ohio
Three (3) years clinical experience in care of patients with cardiovascular disease
Certified in BCLS and ACLS
Required Communication and other skills:
Communication and other skills:
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills in the area of patient education and counseling
Competent in the performance of a cardiovascular and pulmonary history and physical exam
Competent in quickly recognizing identifying and treating abnormal EKGs and cardiac dysrhythmias
