Job Summary
Director of Finance Nonprofit
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)
Reports to: Executive Director
Lead the finance function for a collaborative values-centered nonprofit with a $20M annual budget. As Director of Finance youll oversee accounting financial reporting compliance and strategic planning to ensure fiscal responsibility and support the organizations mission.
Key Responsibilities:

Reports to: Executive Director
Lead the finance function for a collaborative values-centered nonprofit with a $20M annual budget. As Director of Finance youll oversee accounting financial reporting compliance and strategic planning to ensure fiscal responsibility and support the organizations mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all finance and accounting operations including budgeting forecasting and reporting
- Develop and implement financial policies procedures and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP tax regulations and nonprofit standards
- Lead annual audits and manage cash flow projections
- Present financial insights to leadership and board members
- Supervise and mentor the finance team
- Bachelors in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
- 710 years of progressive financial management experience including 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP fund accounting and nonprofit compliance
- Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
- Excellent communication and board presentation skills
