About the Role
As an Accounts Semi Senior you will play a key role in the delivery of accounts and compliance work across a varied client portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring work is completed efficiently accurately and in line with agreed budgets and timescales while maintaining high professional standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the effective delivery of accounts work across the service line ensuring workflow is well managed and deadlines are met
- Managing budgets and monitoring progress on accounts assignments in progress
- Taking part in accounts planning and review meetings
- Preparing accounts to a high standard and ensuring they are ready for manager review and sign off
- Monitoring work progress and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders at each stage of an assignment
- Acting as a main point of contact for a number of clients managing their accounts compliance and related service needs
- Attending client meetings when required
- Responding promptly to client queries and correspondence ensuring commitments are met
- Supporting wider team initiatives and firm wide projects

- Managers and partners with oversight of accounts assignments
- Client contacts and external stakeholders
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- AAT qualified or ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience with a minimum of two years practice experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Good communication skills and a client focused approach
- Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
