Job Summary

Job Title: QA Automation Tester (Android & iOS)

Location: Lisbon Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (2x office days)

Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a QA Tester to design automate and execute tests for Android and iOS applications maintain mobile test suites using Cucumber Appium and Java perform manual and regression testing prepare test data and identify and track defects in close collaboration with the development team.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Design test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements;
Create automated app tests for Android and iOS;
Maintain automated tests and prepare test data;
Execute manual tests including regression testing;
Log track bugs report on test progress;
Collaborate with the team in defining and reviewing test cases and test evidence;
Promote good testing practices within the team;

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar (preferred);
2 years of experience in mobile test automation for Android and iOS;
Knowledge of testing and a clear interest in automation using Cucumber / Appium / Java;
Experience in projects using BDD (Behavior Driven Development);
Experience in designing and executing manual tests;
Ability to analyze written requirements as input for test case design;
Strong communication skills with different types of stakeholders: business analysts application managers developers and business areas among others;
Autonomy in performing tasks;
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team;
Experience using Confluence and Jira (including X-Ray or equivalent).

Complementary Requirements:

Ability to prepare test data and validate results by querying databases invoking APIs or using other programmatic methods not limited to screen-based validation;
Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum Kanban etc.;
Experience in banking projects.
