Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in IT

Job Description Scope of Services:

Onsite Support:

  • Install Move Add/Change De-Installation (IMACD) for end-user computing activities

  • Windows and Mac PC installation replacement and laptop provisioning

  • Hardware break-fix for out-of-warranty devices coordinating with third-party suppliers when needed

  • Liaise with suppliers for in-warranty break-fix tickets

  • Asset management: maintain accurate records in central database and track IT assets

  • Desk-side software support: application installation removal or configuration in-person or remotely

  • Hands-on support for offshore Workplace Services team and vendor visits

  • Tape handling: local backup tape changes

  • Print services support: vendor repairs consumables and troubleshooting user print failures

  • Meeting and event IT support: setup troubleshooting and device functionality checks

  • Log tickets for vendor support and escort vendors on site

  • IT stock management: maintain replacement devices and parts update records and manage stock distribution

  • Assist with Non-Standard Service Requests (NSSR) such as specialized software installations or hardware configurations

Hardware Supported:

  • Personal computers and notebooks

  • Apple Macs

  • Printers

  • Tablets thin clients and smartphones

  • Touch panels

  • Mobile devices (Android & iOS) configuration

  • Firmware upgrades and configuration of handheld scanners

Software Support:

  • Operating Systems: Windows and Mac OSX

  • Office suites

  • Web browsers

  • Project management tools

  • Communication platforms

  • Line-of-business applications

Remote Site Support:

  • Remote support using client-provided tools

  • Microsoft Teams video and audio support

  • Remote stock management and equipment shipping between sites

  • Fulfil new starter and leaver requests for unattended sites

Essential Skills:

Behavioral:

  • Friendly proactive professional

Technical:

  • Desktop support experience

  • ServiceNow (SNOW) experience is a plus

Language Skills:

  • English: C1

  • Local language (Hungary): C1

Type of Engagement:

  • Onsite / Local
