Educational Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelors degree in IT
Job Description Scope of Services:
Onsite Support:
Install Move Add/Change De-Installation (IMACD) for end-user computing activities
Windows and Mac PC installation replacement and laptop provisioning
Hardware break-fix for out-of-warranty devices coordinating with third-party suppliers when needed
Liaise with suppliers for in-warranty break-fix tickets
Asset management: maintain accurate records in central database and track IT assets
Desk-side software support: application installation removal or configuration in-person or remotely
Hands-on support for offshore Workplace Services team and vendor visits
Tape handling: local backup tape changes
Print services support: vendor repairs consumables and troubleshooting user print failures
Meeting and event IT support: setup troubleshooting and device functionality checks
Log tickets for vendor support and escort vendors on site
IT stock management: maintain replacement devices and parts update records and manage stock distribution
Assist with Non-Standard Service Requests (NSSR) such as specialized software installations or hardware configurations

Firmware upgrades and configuration of handheld scanners

Remote Site Support:
Remote support using client-provided tools
Microsoft Teams video and audio support
Remote stock management and equipment shipping between sites
Fulfil new starter and leaver requests for unattended sites
