Job Summary

Deliverables:

Strategic Analysis and Technical Expertise

The consultant will provide strategic advice and technical expertise on Data Centre Network infrastructure Management in order to facilitate the development of Second Stage Request for Bids (RFBs) for a variety of Data Centre Network technologies and architecture delivered based on the clients service specifications lifecycle management planning policies best practices and cost models.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting of strategic documents presentations financial models.
Lead the posting of Second stage RFBs working with various Government groups to accomplish a successful RFB outcome.
Develop materials in line with the OPS service delivery processes Change Requests infrastructure policies procedures and direction cost models and established procurement processes. Incorporate I&IT information mandates strategic plans I&IT environment and standards into the materials.

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Have:

In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and data center
Must have experience analyzing and evaluating delivery models for data center networks
Experience with OPS Procurement directives.

Skill Set Requirements:

Depth knowledge of Data Centre Networks (DCN) Infrastructure Technology and Architecture:

Demonstrated 10 years experience working at an Enterprise level in a technical or business capacity with experience in n-Tiered Data Centre Networks and Tier-IV Data Centre environments.

Experience developing procurement documentation for Data Centre Networks:

Demonstrated 5 years with government procurements related to complex Enterprise Data Centre Networks hosted in a certified Tier-IV Data Centre.

Understanding of Data Centre Networks (DCN) service strategies and provider models:

Demonstrated 7 years experience evaluating analyzing and developing Data Centre Network strategies and models.

Experience analyzing and evaluating service delivery models for Data Centre Networks (DCN):

Demonstrated 8 years conducting business analysis related to Data Centre service delivery and evaluating service delivery models for next generation services such as Hybrid Cloud; on-premise private and off-premise public cloud IaaS SaaS and PaaS.

Experience in the OPS
