Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with specialized experience in excavator maintenance and repair to join our dynamic field operations team.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve mechanical hydraulic and diesel engine issues on heavy vehicles and excavators
Perform routine servicing inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure peak machine performance
Carry out repairs and replacements of mechanical components including drivelines transmissions and hydraulic systems
Conduct thorough safety checks and ensure all equipment meets operational and regulatory standards
Respond promptly to breakdowns and implement effective on-site repairs under challenging field conditions
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and parts usage
Comply with all site safety procedures and company health and safety policies

Requirements

Minimum 4years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Mandatory hands-on experience in excavator mechanical systems and repairs
In-depth knowledge of diesel engine operation maintenance and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and component diagnostics
Ability to work independently manage time effectively and solve complex mechanical problems under pressure
Valid mechanic certification or equivalent qualification
Willingness to work in remote or challenging environments including overseas assignments
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools required

Required Skills:
