What Youll Be Doing:
Apply your academic background to support environmental and sustainability initiatives across the Southwest Regions Aggregate Ready-mix and Stabilized Sand operations.
Assist with environmental monitoring sustainability reporting and planning and reclamation projects.
Support environmental engineers and land managers in ensuring compliance with federal state and local regulations.
Participate in site inspections audits and data collection related to air water and land resources.
Contribute to sustainability efforts including habitat restoration and community engagement.
Learn about permitting processes environmental reporting and land stewardship practices.
Promote and ensure compliance with all health safety and environmental regulations.
What Are We Looking For:
Current juniors and seniors pursuing a degree in Environmental Science Environmental Engineering Geology Natural Resources or a related field.
Passion for environmental protection sustainability and responsible land use.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Work Environment:
Combination of office and field work.
Exposure to various weather conditions and industrial environments.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds stand and walk for extended periods and perform manual tasks as needed.
