Superintendent of Schools

The Cedar Ridge School District Board of Directors is seeking applications for Superintendent of Schools for the 2026-2027 school year. The salary will be negotiated by the school board.

Applicants must have the following to be considered for an interview.

• Current Arkansas administrators license or able to obtain if candidate holds an out of state administrators license.
• At least 5 years experience as a building administrator

Job Goal: The Superintendent of Schools will act as the educational leader and chief executive officer of the school district responsible for the effective execution of policies adopted by the districts Board of Education. The Superintendent will assume administrative responsibility for the planning operation supervision and evaluation of all educational programs finances support services personnel and facilities of the district.

• Be receptive to the changes accompanying LEARNS embracing the new regulations with a positive attitude and collaborating with admins to ensure full compliance in all areas
• Provide educational leadership and executive direction to the Board of Education schools community personnel programs activities and operations of the district
• Assure compliance with established goals objectives and legal requirements concerning district administration and instruction
• Prepare the educational and financial budgets for approval of the Board of Education and Arkansas Department of Education.
