Description

As Senior Occupancy Planner you will be responsible for providing strategic occupancy planning expertise leveraging a deep understanding of our clients space supply and demand to develop scenario and occupancy plans for our clients portfolio in a designated region.

Responsibilities:

Fostering relationships

Youll foster critical relationships between various individuals and organizations including:

Corporate Real Estate to review and resolve planning forecast requirements concerns and issues

Business Unit leadership to collect headcount forecasts and resolve headcount forecast discrepancies between their numbers and those collected at the group level

Corporate Finance group to gather top-down headcount and growth projections

Project management to review planning strategies that drive construction projects and support the implementation of these projects

Move coordination and facility management teams to review and approve moves develop migration plans and conduct facility audits and

Other members of the occupancy planning team to ensure the development of portfolio strategy plans across separate locations.

Driving optimal occupancy planning solutions

Your primary focus areas for this role will be managing the development of occupancy plans sequencing group-level and individual moves and resolving planning issues identified during client planning sessions. You will ensure the alignment of planning with corporate guidelines and that all scenarios maximize the use of space. You will recommend educate and enforce space policies/standards procedures and protocols notify the client of customer-requested exceptions and as necessary assist in developing site-specific Planning Strategies with Senior Leadership. You will be a Subject Matter Expert in the clients workplace program and in using data to drive solutions that increase productivity. You will be a leader in the Occupancy Planning and account team modeling superior client relationship management and strategic thinking.

Reporting

One of your major requirements will be to get familiar with space utilization methods and the presentation of utilization data. Interacting with organizational leadership you will identify space requirements and prepare and update project status reports on actual versus projected seat demand at the building addition you will report on current supply and capacity forecast inventory changes as required and work with the client to reconcile any discrepancies from top-down projections.

We will expect you to work independently multi-task and manage your time to meet deadlines as youll often need to reorganize your daily schedule to deal with your teams changing necessities and requests. We will also look to you to be proactive and innovative in developing solutions with your stakeholders and driving their implementation.

Tech-savvy

  • You will be successful in the role if you are comfortable using software to support planning solutions and communicate ideas clearly with the planning team and client. This includes having advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot table vlook-up cell calculations). In addition proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to consolidate data and floor plans into PowerPoint Presentations and experience with CAFM / IWMS software will be highly valuable. Proficient in space planning and AutoCAD.

A communication champion

  • Excellent communication skills are important both written and spoken. An individual with strong interpersonal skills able to understand complex ideas and communicate them to others and an ability to interact with executive-level external and internal clients will be successful in the role. Most importantly it would help if you look forward to working as part of a diverse supportive and talented team.

Job Specifications:

  • Ability to lead through influence
  • Expert level data analytical skills and ability to articulate stories through data
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy - particularly numbers and spatial creativity
  • Highly organized and demonstrates a high level of performance in project budgeting and scheduling
  • A working knowledge of occupancy utilization office design principles and trends such as the mobile or collaborative workplace is preferred
  • Tech savvy with Google Suite Power BI IWMS/CAFM and AutoCAD.
  • A Bachelors Degree in Architecture Design Construction Management or related field is preferred

Pay: $120000.00 - $150000.00

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicants education experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.
