Mid-Level Electrical Lab Technical Designer

Company:

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is currently looking for an Experienced Electrical Lab Technical Designer to support the ALCM lab in Oklahoma City OK.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyzes products for non-conformance and provides written disposition of production test and post-production discrepancies; ensures configuration control.
• Identifies deviations that could impact product integrity safety design and regulatory requirements.
• Performs root causes analysis and develops corrective action for manufacturing design and documentation issues.
• Provides technical support to interpret design intent and troubleshoot.
• Defines initiates and approves technical content for revisions/improvements to product definition data.
• Audits suppliers/partners for nonconformance.
• Contributes to development and administration of technical training.
• Guides and mentors others.
• Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Must be able to lift push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift.
• Knowledge with GOLDesp (work orders fabrication orders etc)
• Experience with designing the fabrication of wire harness/cables.
• Familiarity with Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 7 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience in a laboratory or flight line setting
• Experience interacting with customers in person and on site
