Job Summary
Inova Woodburn Surgery Center is looking for a Perioperative Support OR Aide to join the team! This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Monday-Friday Every Other Weekend 6:30am 3:00pm

Perioperative Support Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains overall environment (e.g. empties trash cleans spills removes soiled linens) on a continuous basis.
- Demonstrates an understanding of infection control standards and the knowledge of general cleaning principles according to hospital policy.
- Performs daily re-stocking of designated supply areas including linen fluid warmers. etc.
- Delivers specimens blood products etc.
- Obtains additional supplies and equipment for the nursing staff as needed.
- Safely transfers patients to and from in the Operating Room.
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Years of Experience: No experience required
- Certification: Basic Life Support via AHA within 3 months
