Full-Time Onsite Position
Location: 77 Trails End Road Eureka Montana 59917
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8:30 am - 5:15 pm
Friday; 9am-12pm once a month
As a Social Studies / History Teacher you will work collaboratively with the with a multidisciplinary team of teachers to support adolescents ages (13-18) in their journey towards improved education and mental health.
Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Create engaging and customized curriculum plans for Social Studies US History World History and standards-based elective courses.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinicians and direct care staff to support students academic and behavioral growth.
- Academic Support: Provide necessary academic tools and resources to foster student learning and development.
- Classroom Management: Manage student behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
- Differentiated Instruction: Adapt lesson plans to accommodate varying ability levels and needs of students.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies and state regulations.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to state educational standards and requirements.
Qualifications
- Age:21 years of age or older
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Bachelors in History Social Studies Education or related field.
- Skills:Curriculum building public speaking classroom management and behavioral health.
- Experience:Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
- Certifications:Teaching license in the State of Montana
- Background Checks:Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Montana state laws.

Chrysalis is a small therapeutic boarding school for adolescent girls aged 13 to 18 located in northwestern Montana. Chrysalis uses a combination of therapy individualized academics family style living and adventure-based activities to help girls who have struggled academically socially and at home. Each Chrysalis student participates in an international service trip to better appreciate diversity while positively affecting the lives of others and ultimately changing her own life forever.
