Traveler RN Endoscopy / GI Position

Schedule Options

MondayFriday 8:00 AM 8:00 PM - Choose what works best for you: 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts

On call required for overnights and weekends

Key Responsibilities

As an Endo/GI RN you will play a critical role across the full continuum of care:

• Educate patients answer questions and ease procedural concerns
• Monitor and document patient vital signs
• Sedate patients prior to procedures per protocol
• Recover and assess patients post-procedure
• Administer medications and IV drips
• Prepare clean and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Assist physicians during procedures
• Complete all required documentation including patient notes and discharge paperwork

Requirements

• Active NY RN License (Required NY ONLY)
• BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Endoscopy/GI experience highly desired
