Systems Lead Officer - 12 month fixed term

About the role:

We are seeking a Systems Lead Officer to join our Adults Social Work Systems Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the development configuration and implementation of information and financial systems that support critical services. You will play a key role in system analysis design and continuous improvement ensuring our systems are robust efficient and aligned with organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage officers in the Systems team providing technical expertise and guidance. Drive new system development programmes and oversee configuration and design activities. Manage complex system issues and ensure effective resolution. Represent the Council at national user group meetings and coordinate user forums. Analyse existing IT systems identify improvements and implement solutions. Ensure compliance with GDPR corporate governance and relevant legislation. Provide clear reporting on system performance and configuration changes.

About the Candidate:

We would like to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in IT User Skills or equivalent experience (ICT professional qualifications desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of information and financial case management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead teams manage priorities and deliver results in a complex environment.
  • Understanding of data protection principles and corporate frameworks.
  • Proven experience in delivering information/financial case management services in social care beneficial. Good knowledge of LiquidLogic and ContrOCC applications

Occasional out-of-hours work may be required for system upgrades or implementations.
