| Duties and Responsibilities | . Underwriting Portfolio Management Ensure the quality of the underwriting portfolio aligns with established standards and guidelines. Achieve and exceed critical Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) particularly approval rates. Coordinate with collections teams to uphold the quality of the collection portfolio focusing on metrics such as FEMI FST 6MOB and CBB current bucket bounce. Monitor daily productivity approval rates decision turnaround times (TAT) and NPS score penetrations to optimize performance. Conduct profile analysis and data assessment sharing insights and best practices with the team. Maintain and enhance team productivity through regular monitoring and support identifying and addressing process gaps as needed. 2. Risk Management and Policy Adherence Provide timely feedback to the risk team on policy changes or required actions based on ongoing assessments. Identify and address process gaps through regular training sessions and support initiatives to improve overall team performance. Encourage team members to take ownership and responsibility fostering readiness for career advancement. Facilitate regular discussions with the team to identify process-related enhancements providing feedback to the Center of Excellence (COE) team for implementation. 3. Project Support and Enhancements Provide support for project enhancements and new initiatives actively identifying process-related gaps and suggesting developments. Participate in key projects offering feedback to relevant teams and ensuring timely project delivery. Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and leverage technology for increased automation and productivity. Explore opportunities to enhance underwriter productivity and mitigate risk through technological solutions and process optimization. 4. Team Management Engage in recruitment processes to select suitable candidates for team roles. Maintain team attrition within acceptable limits. Identify and nurture high-potential talent for future leadership roles. Offer continuous coaching mentoring and performance feedback to enhance team success. Conduct training sessions and motivational activities to foster a positive work environment. |
