Job Summary

Education: Any Technical Graduate
The NOC Engineer is responsible for
Monitor network and Server alerts using NOC tools (24x7 shift support)
Perform L1 troubleshooting for network firewall Windows server related incidents
Monitor and manage firewalls VPNs and security devices
Respond to alerts related to:
- Firewall health & traffic
- Network latency packet loss outages
- Security threats and policy violations
Perform basic firewall tasks:
- Rule validation and implementation (as per SOP)
- VPN monitoring and basic troubleshooting
Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation
Follow incident problem and change management processes
Maintain accurate ticket updates and shift handover notes
Ensure SLA adherence and timely incident resolution
Support routine checks backups and compliance monitoring
Qualifications :
REQUIRED SKILL SET:
Basic understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs Routing & Switching
Knowledge of LAN/WAN VPN NAT
Hands-on exposure to firewalls such as:
o Palo Alto
o Fortinet
o Cisco ASA / Firepower
Understanding of:
o Firewall rules & policies
o IDS/IPS concepts
o VPN (Site-to-Site & Remote Access)
o Network security fundamentals
