Profile Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in DevOps practices and a strong background in infrastructure management CI/CD pipelines and security enhancements.

Identity and Access Management Solutions (IAMS)

HID Global Identity and Access Management Solutions products protect more than 85 million user identities. At HID Global we understand that no person device or workplace can go unprotected. This philosophy of Zero Trust drives us to create new advances in risk-based multi-factor authentication leads us to secure user identities in converged access environments and drives the need to expand implementations with our industry-leading digital certificates and PKIaaS solution to manage them at scale.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepare and update infrastructure for deployment.
• Update infrastructure scripts using Terraform.
• Create and update Jenkins jobs.
• Update and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Revisit and enhance Web Application Firewall (WAF) security.
• Enhance notification systems for build and deployment jobs.
• Enforce and implement standards for Software Composition Analysis (SCA) Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) and ensure builds fail accordingly.
• Enhance CI/CD and code review processes with automation.
• Create and update Docker images.
• Deploy Docker containers.
• Manage and deploy applications on EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) clusters.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools particularly Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of WAF security principles.
• Familiarity with SCA SAST and DAST tools and practices.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies: EKS ECS EC2 S3 RDS DynamoDB CloudWatch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix Windows OS and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Nginx and PKI infrastructure (certificates)
