Baker Auto Group is one of the regions premier auto groups serving communities throughout western Michigan. We currently have a terrific opportunity for a qualified Service Manager at our Chevrolet storein Allegan MI. If you have a proven track record of maximizing Technician proficiency and customer satisfaction all while driving additional gross profit your next job awaits! This is a full-time salaried position with performance bonus.

Job Responsibilities:
- Creates a world class customer experience by developing a top-tier Advisor team.
- Maximizes Technician proficiency by ensuring work flows smoothly through the shop.
- Hires trains and manages department team members.
- Maintains service pricing and computer system parameters.
- Understands and ensures compliance with the manufacturer warranty and policy & procedures.
- Controls areas of waste; keeps receivables unapplied time and policy expense within guides.
- Oversees shop maintenance and upkeep.
- Ensures the department and personnel remain compliant with company factory and government policy and regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in the retail automotive service business.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Manager.
- Experience with General Motorsand CDK dealer management system are a plus.
- A current valid drivers license is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree is preferred.
