As the People Relations Manager you have complete responsibility and accountability for the
People Relations areas for Norway Sales Market. You implement the global deliveries and
processes policies and guidelines. You secure that local laws practices and needs are captured
and catered for. You facilitate alignment between global and local needs to achieve a common
approach and delivery where needed.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Lead the development implementation and execution of H&M Group Colleague People Relations Strategy and coach leaders.
- Evaluate and analyse data and metrics to ensure the impact of the People Relations strategy and priorities.
- Support with trainings processes legal complaints communications etc. Conduct development and performance conversations with direct reporting employees.
- Be a visionary leader by monitoring Market trends and share the input with the global People Organisation and Regional PR/HR Manager.
- Responsible for labour law industrial & labour relations including legal advice connected to business models/strategies and agreements to secure compliance.
- Represent H&M Group build and manage proactive and constructive relations with local work councils and unions.
- Manage individual cases internal investigations incidents and disciplinary actions locally.
- Responsible for the local Grievance mechanism and supporting tools.
- Ensure processes related to Work Environment and Wellbeing including health and safety management and follow-up are established maintained and compliant with legal and organizational requirements in collaboration with the Security team.
- Secure proactive management of incidents accidents risk observation and reporting throughout the business operation in cross collaboration with local Security team.
- Secure all Managers have relevant competence and tools regarding People Relations.
- Be part of change- and strategic initiatives where People Relations expertise is needed and support in offering advice and solutions.
WHO YOULL WORK WITH
In this role you will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the successful expansion of the business. You will work closely with the Sales HR Area HR and Regional HR teams providing key insights and recommendations.

To be successful in your role you ensure that your part of the People Relations network have the
right competence and contribute to the business needs by taking responsibility for thewhole. By having a holistic approach and proactively ensuring market intelligence you enable agilesolutions compliance to existing and upcoming legislations mitigate risks and solve problems tosupport the business needs.
You will also have:
- At least 5 years of HR experience and worked within People relations areas.
- You have experience with union negotiations
- Formal leadership in leading a specialist role
- Strong communication in English having persuasive and assertive skills.
- You have a great passion for people and the business around them.
- Good business understanding and ability to translate business context into needed actions from a people relations perspective.
- You have proactive innovative curious and solution-oriented mindset.
- You have experience in driving transformation/setting and implementing strategies
- Formal education within Human Resources and within Norwegian Labour Law will be an advantage
