Job Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong mechanical engineering background with hands-on experience in Head Gimbal Assembly (HGA) operations.
- Leverage related knowledge to improve FA turnaround time and predictable machine performance for maximizing reliable capacity Yield and product quality
- Support HGA NPI product builds HGA Automation transitioning and all HGA new technology and process reviews for volume production readiness
Qualifications :
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical Mechatronics Robotics or related science/engineering
- Experienced 5 years in HDD (Hard Disk Drive) or Electronics industry
- In depth understanding for the HGA product characteristics and how they will influence to downstream processes/product performance (HSA and HDD levels)
- This covers but not limited to Gram Load Pitch/Roll Static Attitudes Resonance Flyability etc.
- Identify and execute the process/product improvement opportunities to deliver the optimum factory KPIs (Yield Cpk Quality metrics Capacity etc.) and product KPOVs
- Improve the incident FA turnaround time through systematic methodology and digitalization
- Assess and closely work with concerning parties for new process/technology/product to guarantee no capacity cost and quality hiccup since NPI and Mass Production builds
SKILLS:
- Good in communications
- With data analytics and/or coding skills is an advantage
- Eager on learning and self-development
