Position Overview

We are seeking a Field Applications Scientist with expertise in Ion Chromatography (IC) and Liquid ChromatographyMass Spectrometry (LC-MS) to provide advanced technical support and customer training for our analytical solutions. The role will focus approximately 70% on IC and 30% on LC-MS. In this position you will work closely with sales teams and customers to support pre-sales activities conduct on-site customer visits and deliver high-quality technical as a trusted scientific advisor you will help customers optimize workflows solve complex analytical challenges and maximize the value of their investmentsdirectly contributing to our mission of making the world healthier cleaner and safer.

Key Responsibilities

Working across multiple technology platforms you will:

  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical support
  • Develop new applications and methodologies
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Marketing R&D and Product Management
  • Drive customer success and business growth through technical excellence

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience or Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience in analytical instrumentation and applications
  • Preferred background in AnalyticalChemistry
  • Strong expertise in method development and technical problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to varied audiences
  • Proven presentation and training skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative results-driven environment
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities
  • Willingness to travel up to 5075%
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant scientific software
  • Strong customer-focused mindset and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external customers
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus
  • Valid drivers license and passport required for travel
