This is a key role to ensure development and growth of Rotork site service market share sales and profitability whilst providing excellent service to our customers and supporting their requirements. Act as a member of the country leadership team and working closely with the end Market Sales Teams and Country Manager to promote and grow RS market share leads the Service Operations team for delivering Service support. The role is responsible for the service back-office operations staff workshop facilities and field engineers.
Reporting to the Head of Service this role will work closely with the End Market Sales Teams and County Manager whilst managing a team of field technicians based on this facility.
In this role you are financially responsible for reporting accuracy forecasting utilization profit and loss and strategic planning. The post holder will lead manage and motivate the team manage long-term projects within the service department and ensure sale opportunities are handled timely and properly to assist the sales team in order to convert day-to-day service work orders.
This role would suit a driven customer-focused individual who is able to make decisive decisions meeting deadlines under pressure.
Qualifications :
Experience Requirements:
- Technical qualification in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5 years experience working in a service/practical engineering environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical products.
- A willingness and ability to travel.
- Fluent English
The Successful Candidate:
- Able and willing to take ownership responsibility accountability and decision making
- A proven record of successful effective profit and loss management.
- Demonstrate leadership skills industry knowledge and track record of achieving results.
- A demonstrable proficiency in process development and measurable process improvement.
- Ability to build excellent relationship across business units.
