Staff QA Engineer

RUCKUS Networks is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff QA Engineer to join our team in Taipei!

How Youll Help Us Connect the World

• Develop and document detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Perform thorough software and system testing on Wi-Fi and Switch products.
• Collaborate closely with developers customer support teams and field engineers to identify and resolve issues.
• Design and execute manual and automated test scenarios to ensure product quality and performance.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across LAN L2/L3 protocols and switching features.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA engineering network/system testing or software validation.
• Hands-on experience in L2/L3 Switch testing and Switch Management.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols: LAN TCP/IP NAT IGMPv2/v3 NTP DNS FTP SNMP 802.1X QoS and Firewall.
• Experiences with wireless security WiFi Hotspot/WISPr
• Experiences with IxChariot IxLoad IxExplorer and IxVeriWave test tool/equipment.
• Familiar with IP tunneling protocol: L2TP PPTP GRE SoftGRE IPsec SSH.
• Familiar with packet capture and analyze.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies and test management tools.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Experience with automation tools and scriptingPython preferred.
• Experience with testing lab planning IPv6 Linux & Authentication server setup
• Experience with security test for Authentication Authorization
• Effective communication and teamwork skills across cross-functional teams.
